Day 1: Round 4

Well, I’ve had a crappy couple of weeks. Chemo is nasty stuff and the inevitable list of nagging side effects (unshakable fatigue, fog, hives, etc…) are getting me down. My body is rebelling and my spirits are flagging. The good news is that today is my last chemo round!!! Mary and I are headed to Indy shortly. Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well and I’m able to cross another treatment milestone off my list.

I’m so sorry and I SO understand. It has a cumulative effect, and if you need to break down and sob your brains out or hide in whatever escape you can find, I recommend it highly. Be good to yourself and as patient as you can be. I’m thinking safe thoughts for you.

Catherine…been away from blogosphere for a bit, thought my cancer had spread but got the good news last week it did NOT. Now am catching up little by little on all my fave bloggers and came to check on you. You rock, you did it, you made it through the 4 rounds, wow. I KNOW how hard that is. Hang in there…am wishing you the best!

    Hoping you’ve moved
    from flagging to bragging
    from tossing
to crossing this round off your list
    and though I’ve missed
many a entry and failed as a sentry to your web-based sharing
I have not stopped caring for you and those around you
