Goodbye Dear Lady

My grandmother passed away this afternoon at the age of 94. She was one of the most loving, most generous, most authentic people I've ever known. Thank you, Amma, for teaching me so much about life and love. You will be missed.

Oh Catherine! So sorry to hear this at any time, but especially on top of everything else. Holding you and Mary in my thoughts today.

So sorry Dear Catherine. I never met her but you have told me part of her story and I think of her often. Thinking of you and Mary. What a nice picture.

I’m so sorry for your loss…she sounds like a wonderful person and that photo shows it well.

Been catching up here and am also sorry to hear about chemo — been there and just finished that 2 mos ago now. I have to say, tho, that your witty finish to the previous post had me lol…you really do have a great sense of the absurd; certainly plenty of that to choose from once you have cancer, huh?

Hang in there and know you are being wished well by many, including me.

    Cath,

I’m so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I had the pleasure of meeting her a couple times. She had a great smile and seemed to get such a kick out her family.

    Love,
    Jo

I’m so sorry, Catherine. I remember hearing lots of great stories about her (and your granddad?) when we worked together. My maternal grandmother died 2 years ago (also at 94), and though I remind myself that she had a long and rich life, I still miss her a lot.

I’m also sorry for everything else you’re going through right now.
