The bad news: the surgery hurt like hell (again).
The good news: the surgeon’s office called late this afternoon with the latest pathology report. The tissue margins were clear (aka the surgeon did not slice into the tumor as feared), and the tumor was smaller than anticipated, less than 1 centimeter.
Time for a margarita.
thinking of you and gonna whip up a margarita, too. cheers, love.
Glad to hear surgery take 2 seemed to go OK. I’m going to imagine you kickin’ back in Bloomington w/a crushed-ice, salt-rimmed margarita at your side thinking up great article ideas about medical errors, convalescence, etc. Gold mine. Seriously: Really happy to read your post.
YAY. You have a margarita. *I* will have a margarita..
Margarita and spring break. Ah…. That pathology report is great!
I just tapped my juice box…cheers!
So sorry to hear about the pain Catherine. I hope the margarita and the good news from the pathology report help.
Here’s to a fast and complete recovery. Thinking of you…
best wishes,
Christie
Brilliant news on the margins. OMG! This is the best news. And now, recovery, again. And this time, for good!
Wishing you the very best, Catherine and Mary. Clear sailing!
Cheers!
